Current mood:  happy

I first want to start off by saying I have no hard feelings and all the respect in the world for Kevin, Rod, CB and Scrapyard for their decision on not coming back for another season and I wish them all the best!! It felt like losing family members because you spend so much time together, kind've grow on ya!! There were good times and bad, but they were times and I will never forget them....thanks for the memories!!!LOL

My problem is with the way CSM used us and the show to promote their business with no recognition or royalties for the people that got them to where they are today!!! I want to also say, this is no way geared towards the employees of 4 State trucks!!! I have the same respect for them and what they do and you're just doing your job...you know who you are!!!LOL

I'll start with the CSM blog about the show......as far as the show going in the wrong direction and building pick up trucks, read the next section on how CSM has made a huge deal with Ford to build F450's with custom accessory packages.....isn't that a pick up???? What a total contradiction to what their blog said!!! As far as "Trick My Trucker" goes and the light it sheds on a trucker....didn't our show make fun of truckers and the way they kept their trucks up???  Sure the spinoff wasn't the greatest show, but it did show how hard the American truckers life really is and there is something they can do about it....made me see how hard it was to be a trucker. The sponsers...well Chevrolet, Exxon Mobile are some sponsers of the show which conflicts with the Ford and Castrol deals CSM made….. which we didn't see a dime of.  Then the integrity of the builds, I still see Road Hog and other trucks around..... CSM owns "The Sequel" and still in the same condition as it left the reveal bay!!!! I mean come on….IT'S A TV SHOW!!!LOL I put my heart and soul in this show and sometimes it can be over the top, but it is about "eye candy" to keep ya'll watching….and you do don't cha???LOL  I think CSM is reaching for excuses to make them come out looking like the good guys!!! Im here to show what CSM is all about, making money!! If they didn't care about us then how can they type to care for the American trucker??

Now that CSM is gone from the show it's funny how the truth can surface from sponsers and truckers. I've personally heard that CSM blocked the promotion of PCT, Blasted and Robs Audio and can only use CSM or they'd pull off the project. Also heard that if certain sponsers supplied TMT with merchandise it would be pulled off shelves...nice!!LOL

Do you think its fair that CSM merchandise will be sold in Petro's and TA's and we'll see no money from it. When CSM was on the show, we'd get basically 10% of profits, spit 6 ways after CSM and everybody else was paid. CSM did sell my Blasted shirts and hats on the trailer and website and we split the profits 50/50. At the last truck show I did with CSM, my shirt was on the back wall of the trailer, half covered up by the Inferno truck poster, so none of our stuff  moved because CSM didn't promote it….I think I'm on the clearance rack at 4 State or in the trash.... I know they were giving those baseball cards up for free!!!LOL On the same note they used our faces and the show to get Castrol, Speedco, Ford and other big deals and we never worked on the trucks or saw any money!!! Well I did get paid  on the Speedco paintjob, not what should've because I gave them a deal. Not to mention paying the guy I trained for the show to paint the Castrol truck….. he would've made more money painting T-shirts!!!LOL Wonder what those companies would say if they knew that.  How would you feel if you went to a truck show to sign autographs on merch that The Mafia  printed and doesn't  have our faces on there??  Also watching brand new Fords driving by where we film, accessorized by CSM.  Seeing CSM unveil the 2nd Castrol truck with the cast photo sitting next to it and I never touched the truck!!! BTW, that was one of the worst paint jobs I've seen, so I'm glad I wasn't involved!!! HAHA I could keep going, but I think you're getting the point!!

Speaking of a new shop, I offered to move to Joplin and be the full time painter for CSM, but they told me they couldn't give me the work. I had the financial backing, a spraybooth company to supply the shop and was going to team up with Rob and do custom paint/ stereo/ interior and CSM had other plans. 4 States would rather sell Blahpunk stereos than to use Robs Audio shop ….and I've heard that they are using other custom painters and had a job done for someone and said it looked nothing like my work!!! THAT IS FRICKEN AWSOME!!!!!LOL All you custom painters out there…if you're looking to get bent over, give them a call!!!LOL

So Im a one man show here and my only income is Trick My Truck!!!! I used to be a chopper painter before the show, now I specialize in large vehicles with no shop to paint them out of,…yet!!! I can't even fit my Dodge in the old shop.LOL So it's basically storage for now. CSM has been running full force the whole time and I've watched the shop and employees at 4 States double in size and I'm unemployed when the shows not filming….is that fair???? Is it fair that certain cast members made double what I made on the show and didn't have to work on the trucks?? I work 12 hr. days 6 to 7 days a week for 3 years, filmed 41 episodes or commercials for CSM to build them an empire and I get nothing but a check from the show.

I'll put it to ya'll this way…..if we were never labeled " Chrome Shop Mafia", none of this would've happened and the guys would still be on the show. It gave one business full control to do whatever they wanted!!!! The new crew and name"Outcast Kustoms" is a GROUP EFFORT!!! There are no closed books and WE all have a say in what goes on as a group!!!! If we did this in the beginning with CSM…..the old cast would still be one big happy family…..I think????LOL  So if you want to blame anyone for the old crew breaking up….blame Chrome Shop Mafia.

I hope I didn't offend anyone by telling the truth….but I thought it was time!!! I want everyone to know what CSM is all about!!!!!  I'm not mad, angry or anything like that….actually it feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!! So I'm moving on…. I could never be happier, I love my son and I still get to do what I love…painting!!!!  What I'm telling are the facts of what went down in my eyes and I'm not speaking for anyone else from the old crew!! All the Mafia need to do is share the wealth and if CSM has a problem with this blog….then come tell me why you did what you did, apologize… and I'll gladly take this off….until then, have a nice day!!!HAHA

  ROCK ON, Ryno

It's good to see people setting people right. You stand up for yourself and that's great. People hate to hear the truth. They fail to realize that most times the truth hurts...but it's the truth none the less.

thanks for the enlightment ryno,i just want you to know that even though you and most of the boys didnt receive the paycheck you very much deserved for your work with csm,you gained a whole hell of a lot in respect and admiration,I am a huge fan of the show,in fact it helped me in making the decision of going to diesel technology school because I had never seen a bunch of bad asses like yourself, rob, and the picketts do what you guys did to these rigs, being a fan of the show i researched you guys individually and found out about all of your personal businesses,i was fooled though too because I got ahold of some CSM shirts and sported them thinking that I was representing all of you guys, not just four state trucks,if I had been aware I would have much rather worn blasted stuff,as well as PCT and Robs audio, and seeing as how my dad, brother, uncle, and cousin all make a living driving I lost a lot of respect for four state trucks if their only interest is money signs and not the passion of creating, keep doing what youre doing man,you got a whole mess of people who have your back and are still salivating for that next reveal!!

Hey man... CSM isn't schooled in the world of karma.. You, and Rob will prevail much better than they will in due time. Hold on ! Take a breath, and watch the CSM be part of their own demise. Outcast Kustums will be the dominating shirt or hat people will want.

Just wanted to say how my husband & I are always watching the show and loving your paint jobs. The rest of the remodel is great, but your paint job is what makes these trucks.... Keep on believing in yourself and making yourself happy. That is the most important thing. We have already decided when we get out truck that you are the only one who can paint what we want.
Keep on rocking...

I am glad that you were able to come forward and tell us what happened. Watching the new show, I really enjoyed how everyone seems to get along and was happy. I was glad that Rob did stay. When CSM was at GATS in Dallas last year, my brother got there after I did and CSM was leaving after signing autographs and my brother told me that half of the Mafia acted liked they did not even want to be there. When I got all of y'all autographs, you were on your cell phone but did apologize to me for not being able to talk and Rob as well as Kevin were real friendly. All I can say is to hell with CSM and you and the new crew will come out ahead. So keeo Rockin' On-you are awesome. !!!!

It sucks what happened with that. But it may be for the better. That Volvo that you, Rob, and the new crew built is far better then anything from the previous seasons. The paint job was as good as ever and Rob's work on the audio system was great too. (He just needs to learn how to put a little more emphasis on his, "Let's tear down.") That Volvo jumped out at me in a way that no previous truck on the show ever did so you're all doing a great job. I'm eager to see what you guys will do in later episodes. I would especially love to see what you guys could do with a Freightliner Columbia or Coronado or, if you can find an owner-operator who has been lucky enough to get one, one of Freightliners new Cascadias.

Hope all goes well for you. One thing for sure I have spent my last dime on any truck accessorys or parts in joplin mo. Brian recomended Drager to do our interior on our truck we paid him a lot of money for a job I could have done. And I know nothing about interior work ,we took more than half of it out and threw it away the rest of it we had to hire another guy to fix it . So brians words not to good in our book. Drager was the same to us it was all about the money when he got it that was it he would not make it right and he knew he screwed us. What comes around goes around. Do on to others as u wish to have done on to u. Thats how i see it. I know 2 wrongs dont make it right . But we still have a bad taste in our mouths.

Thanks for the info, Ryno. I've watched Trick my Truck from the beginning and I got so used to the old cast that when i saw all the new faces, I was shocked at what happened. I'm glad to see you and Rob still on the show and your work is awesome. It's too bad though that you only do large trucks now. I have a couple of kitchenaid mixers in my catering company I wanted to have custom painted. That's alright though. Best of luck to you and the new Trick My Truck cast.

Ryno,

Your talent is in the same league as Michaelangelo, da vinci, and Rembrandt! You are truly amazing and your work was the only reason I watch TMT.

I enjoyed the fun with Rod, Kevin, Rick, CB, Bryan, and Rob as well.

Sad to see the original crew broken up, and even sadder to hear your accounts of the reasons why.

I found your blog from the TMT site and all the many fans who missed your guys. It's sad to see the big money machine has ruin another fine cast in place of making a few extra dollars up front. They lack the total vision of making you and the original cast happy, and sharing the wealth, and making a great show for the long haul. This in turn, would have made more money for all of you and the big wheels.

Corp America, has no forsight beyond the fiscal quarter their in!

I'm a native So Cal-ian myself, and I'll keep a look out for your work the the neighborhood!

I hope you get to paint your Mona Lissa!

I see they still haven't bothered apologizing, or for that matter, thanking you for building them such a lovely empire. I don't know about anyone else, but if I was having a project truck done, I would want to see the original crew doing it. If I came in and saw anyone missing...see ya! I think y'all in Outcast should get your own shop, that would be BA.
