This is mainly a post for moms.I Think every mom is different and has different things to contribute to each other and we should all pass around info and helpful tips and tricks and ideas so I hope after reading my blog you all will be inspired to do the same.Now one thing I can share is my recipes and different food ideas.When I got pregnant there were a couple of things i knew for sure I would buy my child a barbie dream house,I would teach them sign language and I would fix them healthful meals and teach them the right way to eat so they wouldn't have a weight problem like I have struggled with for most of me my life.So everything was going great with the health food until Marianne hit around 15 months then she started getting picky and not eating fruits veggies and anything else that wasn't mac and cheese or sweets.Now I have never believed the old wives tale" let your child eat what they want they will get what they need",in fact I am strongly against it!I think behavoir problems, learning problems and health problems can all be linked to food -think about how so you feel when you eat fast food?Now think about when you eat a nice piece of fish and some veggies?There is a difference just pay attention.So for me things started turning around when I watched oprah and she had jessica signified on there talking about food purees.I was so excited I went and bought the book and made some of the recipes then started doing my own thing since I didn't have or could afford all the things she talked about.So now i will share with you some of my tricks and tips and I hope it will help you and your little one since I love them so much.Breakfast-First off is pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin! I love this you can buy it all ready purred in a can it is a superfood and you can use it for breakfast, lunch and dinner and most of the time you cant even tell its in there I PROMISE.I never make pancakes without half a can of pumpkin in it i usually grate carrots or zucchini it them to I love this because my child is getting veggies for breakfast!And she does not even know it.anytime I make eggs i only use 1 whole egg to 2 egg whites,now i have tried pureeing veggie to put in the eggs but to honest i dont like them or how they make the consistency of the eggs so i just chop spinach mix it in the eggs-if your kids are a little older read them green eggs and ham to get them excited.my last breakfast tip is dont be boxed in like just because its breakfast it has to be toast eggs and fruit,serve salads and grilled veggies one of my favorite breakfast is eggs and roasted asparagus try it you wont be disappointed!so since this was kind of long i will leave it at breakfast for tonight and and some lunch and dinner tips later this week.I hope this helps out I look forward to hearing if they worked for you!
