First let me say, I LOVE being competitive. It's in my nature. So losing a softball game last night in 5 innings with a score 22 to 3, should have made me lose my Sh*t!!! But I'm glad to report, I am not angry at all. I am so super excited. I can't believe I let softball slip out of my life for 10 years!!! Our team is a group of great people, all of whom I've never met a day before in my life (ok all but 1). They may not be great at the game, but it was loads of fun!!! I'd also like to shout out to the Blue team we played. Not once did they rub it in our face how good they were. They were very supportive and great!!! They even had a robot playing short stop. I say he was a robot, because nothing, and I mean NOTHING could get past him! It was amazing! I hope all of our matches are that nice, but not that good, though I do doubt it. I couldn't have asked for a nicer experience...ok we could have won, but whatever. I have faith in the team that after this first game, some bugs were worked out and we are ready to kick ass next Wednesday!!! GO YINZ TEAM!!! BLACK AND GOLD ALL THE WAY!!!
I am still in shock that I had so much fun....losing. I can't believe I put my competitive self on a shelf! who knows maybe I'm growing up!!!
Well next week should involve beer, and hopefully a W! If not a win, I hope we can score at least more than 3 points.  So come on out to McKinley Field our game is at 9pm!
