I thought that this would be a good spot as any to talk about how I feel right?   Well I reccently started back to school yay!! I am working on my pre-reqs for nursing. I am going to stick with it this time. It feels right. I finally t hink I am heading down the path I am supposed to be. Hopefully. And I have Derrick. Derrick is the most amazing man (next to my grandpa Norman) that I have ever met or loved. He is everything I need him to be when I need him. There is nothing that he wouldn't do for me or that I wouldn't do for him. I can not imagine my life without him in it. He does the sweetest things for me. Sometimes the smallest things matter the most. On my first day of class which was 2 weeks ago. I over slept!  Big suprise there right? But I was distraught. I was so upset I couldn't believe I overslept on my first day back to school in like 5 years!!!! Anyways I ran around getting ready and when I go to get my school stuff on top of my purse is a card from Derrick telling me how he hopes that I have a great day and how he knows I will do good today. There was also a bag of my favorite candy M&M's!!!!!! I know its so small but it meant the world to me it was sooooooo amazingly sweet. I almost cried. It just meant so much to me. I love Derrick with all my heart and I think he is amazing! But that is just one of the little things he does for me. I just thought I would share that little story. I am very blessed to have Derrick in my life. I thank God for him everyday. Everyone who knows me knows that I have dated the jerks and had my heartbroken many times. All I can say is wait for the calm after the storm. You will find the one who will finally protect your heart.
