after 3+ years in first person is coming to an end.

a few weeks ago vanessa called me and told me that due to many factors including family and work she could no longer put forth the time and effort to play drums for the band.  she is involved in a few other projects (personal and musical) that are taking up her time and things were getting spread to thin.

rob and i made a decision to not look for another drummer mainly because at this point it would feel unnatural to push the band forth without vanessa.  everyone in the band is still on great terms and will continue to discuss LOST and the wire on a regular basis.

we recorded our last 4 songs about a week ago and are very happy with them.  it was a fun time and a great way to bring the band to an end.  we have one more show scheduled in nj on february 11th, with a possible date in philadelphia in march.

i would make a list of people to thank, but that list would be really really long.  over the past 3 years we've made so many friends and have had so many people show such extreme compassoin and generousity towards us.  we are very grateful for all of this.  throughout the life of the band there have been good times, bad times and everything else that comes along when great friends play music together.  all in all it was a great experience.

what are we doing from here:

vanessa has recently joined the cabalerros drum core.  she will be playing professionally in a marching band, doing road trips to football games, parades, etc.  she wears a bad ass uniform and it's does triplet fills. it's sweet.

tom is currently playing guitar in black kites as well as playing drums in disarmor . he continues to dye his hair to hide his grays.

rob is currently mixing beats for a hip hop project and there is talk of him and tom starting another band.  more info when things get going.  rob continues to work at WWE meeting famous wrestlers and watching LOST spoilers when the boss isn't looking. he also plays guitar and sings for the the jonah complex.

benn was our former bass player.  next month he will be opening his very own gaming shop in west philadelphia.  the grand opening is february 7th and the store is located on the 40 block of locust in west philly.  he is also playing bass for pyramids.  his beard is still rockin.
