You don't have to wait until Earth Day....
each and every day you can give your kids a mini lesson on being good stewards of this miraculous planet. There are the obvious lessons of recycling, changing bulbs, turning out the lights etc. But that can often just sound like nagging, so try having some fun instead. Show your kids that everyday re-usable objects can make toys or crafts, or build some bird houses together and read books about the flora and fauna in your area --
