Rock group Chucky's River are ready to take on the world with their new
EP Personality Crash! the three piece band from Gorey in Wexford have
put together five songs of pure listening pleasure, Track 1
"Personality Crash" has your mean blues rock feel with rock
star style vocals, the band kicks the tune into a Thin Lizzy type
of groove and back to a softer rock mode with some nice Sax work from
James McCafferty. Track 2 "This Ship" 80's styled rock or retro rock
rhythm carries this song with some nice catchy guitar riffs. Track 3
"The Town Warp" this is a cool laid back folk/rock ballad, it has
catchy grooves with some great lyrics too. Track 4 "Johnny Finance" the
bass holds the groove in this song while the guitar controls the
dynamics indie/rock with pop orientated vocals this is a smashing tune.
Track 5 "The Very Same" there are some great rock grooves in this song
and mostly important is dynamics I like the changes on offer in this
song, middle of the road stuff but very good.
