Who Gives Kudos:

April 8, 2009 - Wednesday
The Stolen One would make an excellent book club choice.  It's full of intrigue, romance, and lush detail of the Tudor era. I'd be delighted to send out free bookmarks (some bejeweled by me), and other fun swag to book clubs whether you are teen or adult.  I am also able to do an author visit if you are local (Dallas-Forth Area) or can make arrangements to phone in if you are long distance.  You can contact me here, or at my email: dansuzanne@aol.com.

Hello Suzanne,

My name is Lourdes Keochgerien and I am the assistant to the Children's Librarian, Lisa Sedita, at the Ridgefield Public Library in Ridgefiel, NJ. I head a teen book club (which I love doing) and having some bookmarks for them would be fantastic. This way they are aware of your novel and I will certainly mention it this month at our meeting. If you are interested please message me back and thanks for the friend request.

Sincerely,

Lourdes Keochgerien

Lourdes,

I'd be delighted to send some bookmarks. Right now I have some business sized ones with the coveron the front I can send. ALso I'm going to make some bejewelled ones but they are not read yet. And closer to publication I'm going to have some made that are more the tradional size bookmarks with reviews included.
Let me know which you would prefer and how many!

Suzanne

I was going to ask if your book was published yet. I was trying to find copies in our system to see if I could use the book for the club but none popped up. Since you mentioned it has not been published yet that makes more sense. When is the book due to come out? I would love anything you could send. Half of the bookmarks with the cover and half of the bejewelled? This would mean 20 in all. I do not not want to trouble you too much for the latter ones. Later on please send the ones with the reviews as well. I will tell my boss to order your book for our collection when it comes out too. Let me know if this is suitable for you. Thank you so much for your offer and kindness.

Sincerely,

Lourdes Keochgerien

Lourdes,

Did I ever send you the book marks? I've had requests from about 15 libraries and you are not on my list for "sent." You were one of my first requests so you might have gotten lost in the shuffle. Let me know it you haven't gotten any and I will get some out immediately!

Suzanne,

No, I did not receive any bookmarks. I understand with the shuffle that we could of gotten lost. Please, take your time. My book club does not meet again until July. Also, congrats for the Seventeen magazine blurb.

Regards,

Lourdes
