Hello everyone

I'm just writing to say I've been chosen among 10 acts to be in the Celtic Languages Song competition called Nós Úr, which will be held in Inverness on June 20th. Acts from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man and the Basque region all entered and the contest will feature songs in Irish, Scots Gaelic, Breton, Welsh, Cornish, Ulster Scots and Scots. I think I got it all there. Don't think there's any representatives of the Isle of Man unfortunately.
My good friend Enda Reilly also has a song in it so the two of us are going over to represent Ireland so it's quite an honour! If I or Enda or both of us end up in the top 2 out of 10 we'll go on to Finland to represent the Celts in the European Minority Languages contest.
Anyways, I'll let yas know how I get on. Unless I don't come anywhere, in which case ya won't hear any more about it.
So if any of you guys are in Scotland (Connie I'm looking at you :) ) feel free to come up and lend your support

You can vote online on Saturday for me by going on to www.nos-ur.eu
I would very much appreciate if you did this as one of the votes is audience vote and with a full Scottish audience there on the night will more than likely be a hometown decision

Míle buíochas
