Hi Everyone,
Seeing 'Oranges and Apples' making it's way out into the world has been a pleasure so far.... Mr. Barrett has been watching over us and guiding us in many mystical ways... he is forever in our thoughts...

A message to all who have downloaded it.... Pass it on to your friends and family, play it to your hippie/punk ma 'n da ...play it to yer weans ..play it on yer ipod on the way to iwork, isleep... open the window on Sunday afternoon and blast it to the birds... drunkenly regale yer pals with tales of it's powers... play it when you wake on the 1st January 2009... groove yer way into the new year with us n Syd...

love to y'all, see you in 09

I will gladly "play it to me weans," if someone will take the time to explain what that involves exactly.

Hi Emily, Here is a translation and derivation on the 'scots' word, 'weans' .... wee yins ... wee ones ... small ones ... your children.

another exquisite gem has been created by the fine gentlemen of tcs. i continually tell everyone about your band, and have been since i first heard cake in the early 90's.

this is such a great continuation of your story and its musical journey.

listening to Oranges and Apples right now, again, while i pretend to work... and as i am, as always, inspired to writing my music upon hearing yours.

have a sun filled day and a well-lit evening, -mark

The only thing greater than our dear Trash Can Sinatras is Charlie's new musical, "The Nightman Cometh"! It is a VERY close race. I can't wait to hear the new record!!!!
