Well we've been on this thing for almost 3 years now, I remember when I was super stoked to have 420 friends in the friends list. Man back in those days I went nuts, friendin every motherfolker in the world. I soon discovered if you want to use it as a tool you cant BE a tool about friend requests, and having certain friends like porn stars was not really relevant (not knockin other bands with em, your music may just be in a porn someday, but if ours was, that would be one sick porn)

Anyways we've got 3800 friends now, after I deleted over 200 people that probably would never give two flying ducks about us. 2000 of our current list are bands and I've actually gone though all of them and must say each one had a quality worth appreciating. 800 of our friends are groups, artists, org's, and misc. businesses we think are doing something cool, as well as a slew of fictitious characters I get a kick out of.

That leaves over 1000 locals, actual people that live in the Halifax Country who were willing to take a look at our page, listen to a tune or two, read some of the crazy florida stuff we got on there, and decided they'd give us a little support.

So to the locals, thank you so much for spacin out with THC, and giving us some pride (be it largely falsified). If you don't have over 5000 friends yourself click "mutual friends" with us, and see how many people you know that you might see at a Contraband show. I hope we can be that kind of band, a band that you are proud of that made it from your area, and one that when you go see them, you know you are going to run into a lot of friends.

Our neck of the woods is not the greatest place in the world, but its ours, so here we measure happiness by the quality of friends we have.
