Hi,

Well, hello. Let me got comfortable here... aaah. That's it. When you talk with someone it's good to be comfortable, right?

So where the hell were we?

I'm not telling!

In a way, we really didn't go anywhere. By that I mean that we have been at the Crystal Corner Bar on Wednesday nights, playing music, yukking it up, and smiling at all those rum-tug-tuggers. But rum-tuggin' is not all there is to life... right?

Now that the thermostat is set higher outdoors and the Derbies mitts aren't totally frozen after carrying equipment in from the van, they're freed up to really let loose and if you've been out recently on a Wednesday at the Greatest Gig in Dane County, or as I'd like to call it, The Andrew Harrison Country Guitar Master Class, you'll know what I mean. Life can't be ALL work, you have to enjoy it and what better a night than Wednesday?

After all, we're all just trying to live.

New songs are in the BD pipeline, and new t-shirts too! You'll need to ask me to save ya one because the BD comeback shirts are a limited quantity item, once we run out that will be it! No crazy pyramid scheme here! Let people know your BD love by wearing the t-shirt! They'll be ten bucks by the way, and believe me, we need the money worse than a ____ needs a ____ !!

If that isn't enough to exclaim about, we're heading to Denver in October for another go-round with the M12 folks at THE BIG FEED. We need to get our names on that cowbell one more time! Hopefully there's some seedy joints we can play in the area to really complete the cultural experience from art to fart.

You'll notice that the BD isn't traveling so much this country music season as in seasons past. Well, let me just say first that I prefer quality over quantity... unless quantity involves some kind of PBR, but that's a whole other critter entirely. Secondly, I'm working on a little project on the side that is purty top secret... it involves something near and dear to me, and it's non music related, you'll be able to hold it in your hands, but.... details to come. Suspense!

Anyway, I hope all you online monkeys have been well and you got through the winter without too much difficulty... if you didn't, I hope you at least got some good stories out of it and maybe a life lesson or two but that might be too much to hope for given how things go, huh?

Anyway, that's enough rambling for now. I have to get back to things and you probably do too.

Earl signing out.

Bye!
