Hey y'all. After a search, a soul-search and a rollercoaster first gig together, we have collectively decided that Shep Taylor will play bass for AM. And Shep also decided that AM is for him as well.

We had one rehearsal together and all jumped into the pool together in Greensboro this month. Shep got a "courtesy rehearsal," which basically let him know what the sound was going to be, got some tab sheets and a good meeting with Seth and I.

The gig went well, all things considered. American Motel's tradition of improvisational and off-the-cuff writing and scoring makes this a difficult project for most bass players. But Shep is the MAN! and nailed most everything.

We are working together to put the Borders show on like it should have been in June. So please come out.
