Guitar legend Les Paul has died today but his guitar lives on!  Les was one of our "founding fathers" that contributed SO much to the invention of the electric guitar.  He was one of a kind.  Coffin Case is saddened by his loss but we know his memory will live on through every rocker that picks up one of his guitars.

We'll miss you Les!!

who cares about his over priced guitar that gibson wants to shove down everyones throats...   that's just lame icing on a cake...    what about his real contribution to the music industry?   the multi-track recorder.   to bad the morons that call themselves musicians, never ever think of him when they use thier piddly multi-tracks....  but oh we should all remember him when we play his over priced crap guitar.   jeeesh.

Les gave more than just great guitars, he was a virtuoso himself, and single-handedly brought more innovation to the guitar playing world than we can ever acknowledge...

I'll never forget being blown away numerous times at Fat Tuesdays. I still have my 52 goldtop that was burned in a fire back in 1961, which Les signed at a guitar show for me back in 1992. You are truely missed R.I.P.
