Reo: Katy, how does it feel like to be considered one of the top girl DJs playing trance in Russia? How did you get into DJ'ing in the first place? There are not so many girl DJs especially playing trance..

Katy: Well, yes. But you know, everything went very naturally. Music has always been my greatest passion, specially electronic music. I just started going to different parties and after some time I realized that I want to make it myself and share it with other people. It's great when your sets make hundreds and thousands of people feel and move in one rhythm, you know.

Reo: What are your favourite types of music?

Katy: I prefer uplifting trance & progressive trance, but most of all I love uplifting. As for musicians, I admire The Airstatic, Paul Vinitski, Anton Firtich, Ucast, Elite Electronic, Ex-Driver.

Reo: I know that you stood up on place 32 in TOP 100 DJs in Russia voted on site www.promodj.ru. How does it feel to climb that high in one year? And what is behind all your success in such a short time?

Katy: It was very nice feeling. First of all I it is because I try to create a very positive atmosphere, full of life and energy. I think all my sets are full of feelings and emotions and of hard drive at the same time.

Reo: I know that you are DJing only since 2008 and I wonder how is it with Trance & Progressive in Russia?

Katy: Unfortunately, this type of music is not so popular in Russia now, but things are slowly changing, every year it gets more and more admirers. And it's great! And I try to promote it during my performances.

Reo: And the last question. Katy, there are now some very popular Female producers such as Claudia Cazacu or Vicky Divine producing really massive trance. Are you planning to produce something n the future?

Katy: Good question..I really, really want to start producing my own tracks. I hope it will happen quite soon.
