Current mood:  thankful
To all my Myspace Friends,
Just thought i'd share my crazy experience this weekend. So i was on my way to El Paso, Texas this saturday from LAX. I got on the plane, everything seemed normal. After 45 mins. of being on the Air, i heard what i thought i would never experience in my life! The stewardist announces: "Attention all Passengers, There seems to be a problem with the Fuel Tank, but we will have to do an emergency landing back in LA." For a moment i got scared and started praying. Then for a moment i started thinking how i have not done enough for the Lord, i didnt want to die yet. I felt like there is so much more that i could be doing for the Lord in this critical time that we are facing as a Nation. And it made me think of my life, and how sometimes we take it for granted.
Then to make things worse, the stewardist announces: "In case that we have to evacuate the aircraft, please leave all of your belongings". At this point i got even more scared and told God "God give me another opportunity to serve you better, and to raise a family for you, i wouldnt want to cause any pain to my family if i died...
And finally after a while, i was in peace. Just waiting for God's will. Although i felt a little scared, something deep in me told me everything will be ok.
So we finally landed, and everything was fine. God took care of all of us! I feel like he gave me a second chance. Once again God shows me his awesomeness and faithfulness.
Then after, you could imagine, everybody was going crazy trying to re-book their flights to get to their destination. I had to go to another airport (Ontario,CA) to be able to get to El Paso right in time for my concert. I literally just got out of the plane and went to the concert. It was a crazy day. I had only slept about 3 hours. But the Lord used me greatly, people recieved, and we won some souls for Christ!
So here it is, just thought i'd share my crazy experience with the people that care for me and my ministry. Thank all of you for your love and support, and for lifting me up with your words.
Sincerely,
Jeannie

PTL! Know and believe in His supernatural provision and protection for his anointed!

Know that everything is about Faith and His grace. Focus on and walk with Him and do things because you should, but not because of the legalism and ob ligation the enemy tries to convict you of and steal your joy.

When you are focused and hear His voice, you know in your spirit what you need to do when and how, and if He called you for that in a specific time, place and location for certin individuals, you should be prepared.

As far incidents like this, don't be fearful in the storm, because God is in complete control, in spite of the circumstances. Don't be complacent, careless and foolish in anything you do, but on the other hand don't forget who you are in Christ and be paranoid.

If you are doing what you should in your life, God is not going to take you up before your time.

I believe somewhere in Psalms, God says, "With long life, I will sustain thee.
" So take care of yourself, be blessed, loved, safe, happy, healthy and prosperous with a Godly purpose and vision!

Amen! 0=)

Wow Jennie! What an experience you went through! I would have missed you, but I also know I'd see you in heaven again! Keep up the good work, may God keep using you in a mighty way! I know your music and the messages in them are powerful tools the Lord's given in your hands, keep using them well, and may you see the fruit of your labor! See you soon!

wow girl!  I just read this blog....  OMG..what an experience!!... Im sure every time you get on an airplane this memory comes to mind...  I've been flying often too, not as much as you, but now that I live in Texas I've been visiting my family in California a lot... and each time I get on the airplane I say "Lord Im Closer to You"....  a sister once told me that the devil will try to make us fear or be scared that something may happen... and she told me "arlene, just remind the devil that your not scared, and remind him that you are only closer to God"....

sometimes the Lord allows us to experience certain things in life, but Praise His Name you're okay and Im happy we have Jeannie Zelaya for many many more years... your ministry is a blessing girl, your life is a blessing, your music is a blessing....

love you.
