Thanks to the organisers and everyone who showed up. It was nice to see so many people there. To anyone who wasn't there a brief description would be: Hot, sweaty, crammed but with a great atmosphere. All the bands actually turned up and played as far as I am aware and the change-overs worked pretty smoothly so we managed to play a whole set lasting around an hour or so. We decided to try out a new song 'Bleak Endless Winter' which is basically a new rock and roll doom/death song - a bit of a return to the Shadow era - it seemed to go down well and we will be playing it at other gigs in future. The song is featured on our split album with The Drowning due out in May. We had what seemed like moments to do the changeover, but apart from Mike not being able to see anything on stage, me drenching the poor crowd (with water) and some minor sound problems, it went pretty smoothly.
