Here Olivier Manchion. I want to talk to you about LULE KAINE (Torino, IT), a young band (quartet) I produced. The album is entitled "RADIATIONS FROM FUTURIST FURNITURE". It's OUT on these days and for FREE DOWNLOAD through CHEWZ label!

This was taped at Urs studio (www.urs.it) in october 2006 by Simone Fillipi (ingeneer) and myself as artistic producer. All music there performed live in quartet by electric guitars and bass, drums, electronics and synths. This work was then edited and mastered by Marco Milanesio (www.off.to.it) at Off studio in Torino and now released as follow:

Post-rock, post-kraut, free-rock, whatever is the way you want to call it..., I think that Lule Kaine is one the best project I heard in a very long time in Italy, and around. It reminds me the good times of our "Ulan Bator / 2 Degrees" (aka songs of "Polaire", for Italy) in its "elegance". I did try to convince them there was no need of an artistic producer because their music was, in my opinion, really ready to be recorded and was so live and perfect. Few weeks later, I called them back to insist to do it, haha, because I wanted to be associated with it, loving too much their project, enthusiasm, and having been very impressed by seeing them performing live in their studio.
