the one thing that keeps people motivated and sane during basic training is mail from home, even postcards, just something at the end of the day to let them know there is still a world out here, you have no idea how much it helps

one of our own, you know him as swainky, is in basic and i think it would be a good idea if each of us tried to write a short letter, post card or manifesto, to him at least once
