Spring Tour '09 is packing heavy as it heads west!!
We're packing the trailer heavy as we head west for a little while.
Climbing the Colorado mountains is gonna be a slow haul...we're gonna
be draggin !?#.
First of all we're gonna have the brand-spanking super new
"Weary Angel EP"!
available for public consumption for the first time
(keep ear on web site for a listen),
and, as though that wasn't enough, new
"Strong Man T-Shirts"
will be in tow as well,
and we'll be playing some new material as well.
(Random citizen: "WOW Cadillac Sky what a deal- I'll take three of
each!"..
Cadillac Sky guy: "Whoa, don't buy them up all at once.
Chuckle, chuckle, chuckle")
And even though we're bringing this stuff with us...
what we hope to come home with is an empty trailer, a heart full of memories,
and a TON of NEW FANS! (Whoa this smells of publicity cheese!)
But as gross as it sounds, we really do want that. It's gonna be a
ridiculous good time as we return to The El Rey where we had an awesome
time last time, then back in Colorado where the music has no choice but
to be inspired. Two great theaters in Fort Collins and Durango will
allow us to be us, and then we'll set sail to Palisade (great Fest) to
hang with our great friends George and Jody Gertz.
And then.... the circus will set down on the 16th (Tuesday) at Bean
Blossom- Bean Blossom? I can't believe it either. We'll see what
happens. And theeeeennnnnn.............
.
We return home to The McDavid Studio of the Bass Performance Hall. This
will be the Dook's last show as a resident of Texas (at least for a
while-he's moving near Nashville) so YA'LL come wish him a big Texas send off!! I know he hopes to
see all of Texas there!!
