So, after lots of exporting, encoding and authoring, we finished the first DVD's of EDGE - perspectives on drug free culture just in time for the deadlines of 10 Film Festivals in October. Phew, we had no idea this would take so long! But if you all keep your fingers crossed, we are sure EDGE will be shown at some awesome Festivals along with other international films and documentaries!

Over the next days we will be working on our US Movie Tour dates, because besides the screening at Festivals we want to show EDGE in local and/or independent cinemas, venues or cafés. Further we will apply for plenty of European Film Festivals in November and are planing a Euro Movie Tour as well. So, as we already mentioned in our last blog entry, if you have an idea where we could screen EDGE in your area, or if you want to set up a screening for us, please get in touch (edge(at)compassionmedia(dot)org). Unfortunately we didn't have time to do anything else, so a big sorry to everyone that sent us an e-mail in the last 2-3 weeks and we haven't replied yet. It's on top of our to-do list and for sure you'll get a reply soon. We also had a few interview requests already.

A lot of people ask us if we're planning a DVD release. The answer is yes, of course! We have so much material left that we couldn't fit in the documentary, so we'll add that to the DVD, along with complete interviews, a making of, outtakes, etc. We're not sure where and when the DVD will be ready, but its either late 2009 or early 2010. So, please be patient, we will keep you posted!
