SoundStage (sometimes affectionately known as SoundStage1520) broadcasts from the studios of WCHE in West Chester, PA.
The show features performance/interviews with singer/songwriters and bands from the Delaware Valley area.
When I started the show, I really had no idea what to expect. Would people listen? Would musicians want to come to West Chester to do the show?
The answers, fortunately, are 'yes' and 'yes' respectively!
Thanks to the people who are tuning in, and thanks especially to the artists who've taken the time to visit and talk about their music, and above all... Play for us.
My intention is to super serve the artistic musical community of the Philadelphia region and outlying areas of the Delaware Valley.
Response to the show has been so good that I'm proud to say that management has given me another hour to actually feature the recorded music of artists who've visited the station and who wish to gain a bit more exposure of their songs.
So, in addition to listening to SoundStage on Thursdays from 3-4pm, tune in Fridays from 1-2pm to hear local music. Artists, please send radio friendly CDs to:
Charlie at,
WCHE 1520,
105 W. Gay St.,
West Chester PA 19380.
The internet stream of the station, helps those out of our broadcast range to hear the show (listen at www.wche1520.com ), and podcasts of the show are available through iTunes if you missed an interview.
You can find the podcasts just as easily at my podcast page http://soundstage.podomatic.com
Please visit and bookmark the page.
Above all, if you like what you hear on my show, please get out to see a show featuring one of the local artists featured. There is so much talent available to you all the time in the Philly area, and so many great places to go out to see a show.
I get to 3 or 4 shows a week, so you're liable to see me there. Please don't hesitate to say 'Hi'.
I'll talk to you again soon. Take care,

               Charlie at WCHE
