Trashcan Darlings – Goodbye On A Chemical High!

After 13 years as Norway's uncrowned Glamour-Punk pioneers it's getting close to the end for Trashcan Darlings. They leave behind 3 full-length albums, a long line of singles and the DVD 10 Years Of Trash. The decision was made when singer Strange? Gentle late in May announced that he wants to quit due to a longtime struggle with motivation and lack of inspiration. Chris Damien Doll, Frankie Nachtnebel, Q. Ken Rockers and Andy Hunter do not wish to continue the band without Gentle, who has fronted the group since the beginning. It was a unanimous vote and the band wishes to stress that there is nothing unsaid or any hard feelings between them.

The band would like to take this opportunity to thank their business partners, friends, supporters and first and foremost their fans who have bought records, merchandise and come to the shows. It's because of you that we have kept it up for this long! The announced concerts in Norway and Germany will go ahead as planned, so everyone shall get the chance to have a solid dose of Glamour Punk before it's all over.

The last ever Trashcan Darlings concert will take place at the John Dee club in Oslo on Saturday the 13th of December this year. Tickets can be obtained through the Norwegian post office, www.bilettservice.no, 815 33 133, Narvesen or 7-Eleven from the 9th of August.
