WELCOME TO THE WORLD, my friends!!! That's how the song starts, with that message, a message so powerful because in the world we live in, anything can happen and we are the only ones that can change the stuff that happens in this world, with the help of the one above, GOD, the almighty!

"God Above" is my first band single, dedicated only to my God, who when you most need him, he is there for you, if you search for him in the right way. In the chorus my words start like this "God Above, I reach to you, because I'm lost and broken and I need your truth" powerful words, "lost and broken". When you actually are that way and you look for him, to guide you, to give you the real truth of life, he changes your path like he did with me.

I had a bad 2008, health problems, rarely went to church and I didn't had Jesus or God in my life at a full 100%. I was lost in life and broken in my body. On December 31st. I put everything bad about 2008 year in a paper, I prayed to him and said "Erase this bad year for me my lord, and bring me a new one with hope, truth and your solid path, so I can take it wherever you want me to go, to search for your light" I threw that paper in the fire, and it burned into ashes. From that moment on, I've seen the light, I've seen where my Jesus Christ and my God are guiding me; To my great Midway church, into a new place where I can call home, into a great blessing job and into a fully powerful Christian music background that can change peoples lives with lyrics like this one and the ones to come.

God is so amazing, that it should be every day, or every hour or minute or second that we should say thank you, for what we have, OUR LIFE! "God Above, thank you so much for life and what's around us", those are my lyrics in the bridge part of the song, the words that we should be saying every day, which it can only take you less than 5 seconds to say.

All I'm trying to say my friends in this song is that there is a GOD ABOVE! He's the creator of all of us and he's the one to have in your life, if you really want to change it for good. HE IS THE ONE! That's why I will always love you God, forever.

You were lost as a puppy in a snow storm but God lead you out of the blinding snow and bless you with a great ability to witness for him.  Praise him for even the little things each day. My son and daughter in law were in a wreck 3 weeks ago.  Pam is 5 months pregant.  She made it out of the wreck with a seatbelt burn and a few bruises.  The baby is fine.  My son had his jaw fractured in two places and had plates put in and his jaw wired shut.  After he got home he wanted to walk outside and check on his garden he had planted before the wreck.  It was thriving despite several storms we had had.  I praised God for that garden and no harm coming to it. So remember to praise him for the littlest of things.  God Bless you.  your friend Sherry
