Well, there's a few pieces of news to report... There is a new release, "Something Sickened This Way Comes" - a split with Ingrowing available as a 3" micro-CD and 7" out via Obscene Productions in the Czech Republic, though. This thing came out awesome thanks to Curby and Chymus at Obscene and the nice mixing job of one msr. Matt Connell. "Gore Metal" is also finally available as a 12" too - not just a picture disc.
Connell just wrapped up a tour w/Strong Intention, Leon is recording the Intronaut debut album, I'm starting work on a new Dekapitator album this weekend. Also, the new Circle of the Tyrants (Necro, Ill Bill, and Gore-Tex) CD has a track with some of my vox on it - "Necrotura"- also featuring Alex Skolnick and Igor Cavalera(!). Yes, this is a rap CD. No I did not rap. And this song has rhymes about Bill Steer, Piggy, Udo Dirkschneider, Chuck Schuldiner, Cliff Burton, and all kinds of good shit. So don't front, haters!
The DVD is just about done - just adding in the choicest live bits from the past 15 years. Also, when I get a spare weekend, I'm going to go track guitars for the track "Twice as Bright, Half as Long" for a split 7" with Haemorrhage on Power-it-Up records. So we're all keeping relatively busy during this extended break. I should have some kind of ebay store or something set up so that folks can order the latest Exhumed shit before too terribly long- just been taking a full-on break from all things Exhumed related. Also, be sure to check out the debut album from ex-Exhumed members Col Jones and Matt Widener's new band Cretin - "Freakery" - it kicks mucho ass and it's on Relapse.
