We are waiting patiently for Sambassadeur to tour America and make a stop in Atlanta. WRAS Album 88.5 (Georgia State University) played your LP Migration for several weeks as "Final Say" was a request favorite over and over.


Would love to chat briefly with you as I'm writing an article / blog on the current indy pop scene coming out of Sweden that reflects '80s new wave respectfully.


Please advise us of any forthcoming US dates!

Thats perferct - that Sambassadeur will tour in Spain. It is far from Czech Republic, I have to admit, but it looks like Sambassadeur have better manager now probably. Or some new initiative to leave Sweeden regional scene and travel across Europe. Last two years I saw only Sweeden gigs at myspace. It was very depressive, because Sambassadeur music have to be known in world, not Sweeden only. Live shows are so important for band without music videos. Mew are from Denmark and they doesn't play in Denmark only, but rarely. Raveonettes and Carpark North (Denmark bands) also. They wouldn't be known as they are with regianal behaviour and Denmark only live performances. I hope that Sambassadeur will start similar way also. But it needs great managemet especially. The Spain tour is first undertaking maybe.
