We are very excited to officially announce our 2009 Fall Tour! The tour kicks off on Friday, Sept. 18th when U-Melt returns to Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT. We are psyched to welcome Burlington's own Michetti (of Raq) to support the night in the Showcase Lounge. The following night, we'll be travelling down to Greenfield, Mass. for this year's Wormtown Music Festival. U-Melt has been given the honor of playing 2 sets again this year, this first on the Main Stage at 8:00pm and the second set in the brand new Wormtown Cabin at 11:00pm. Other acts scheduled to perform on Saturday include Zach Deputy, Jeff Bujak and Jimkata. Next up, on Thursday Sept. 24th, U-Melt will be returning to Northampton, Mass. to headline The Iron Horse Music Hall. This is a late show, with 10:00pm doors and a 10:30pm show time. From there, U-Melt will be heading to Rhode Island to headline the Friday night of the Calling Planet Earth Music Festival in Charleston. U-Melt will be performing from 8:45pm-10:00pm and will be joined by the Pat McGee Band, Entrain and others on Friday night. The following weekend, we will be performing two shows in New York State as part of U-Melt's Breast Cancer Benefit Weekend. U-Melt will be donating a portion of each ticket sold to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. First, on Friday, Oct. 2nd, U-Melt will be returning to Ithaca to headline Castaways! We are psyched to have our friend Jeff Bujak supporting this show. The next night, we'll be heading up to Buffalo where we'll return to headline Nietzsche's for the second part of the weekend. This is a late show, with 9:30pm doors and will go late!
After taking Columbus Day weekend off, U-Melt will return to the road on Thursday, Oct. 15th, with an exciting return to The 8x10 in Baltimore, MD. We always love playing The 8x10 and we hope you can join us for this show with Second Self as the opening band. Then, on Saturday, Oct. 17th, U-Melt will be returning home to New York City to once again throwdown at the always rocking Sullivan Hall. We are psyched to be welcoming our new friends CliffsidePush from New York City and Kinetix from Colorado as support for the night. The following weekend, we are very excited to travel back to the Boston area to headline The Middle East (Upstairs) in Cambridge, Mass on Friday, Oct. 23rd. Local rockers Mondo Gecko will be supporting the show which has extremely limited capacity. The following weekend, U-Melt will heading up to Syracuse, NY for a headlining show at The Westcott Theater on Friday, Oct. 30th. We'll be supported by Jeff Bujak as well as another soon to be announced band. Then, on Halloween night, we are very excited to return to Red Square in Albany to perform a very special late night post moe. show following moe.'s performance at the downtown Armory in Albany. U-Melt will be supported by Albany's Dirty Paris in the back room as well as Jeff Bujak in the front room who will both be performing earlier in the night for those not attended another show. U-Melt will take the stage around midnight and play till they kick us out at 4:00am. However, we will not be selling the entire allotment of tickets on-line and will be sure to make some tickets available at the door and will allow people to purchase tickets as people leave Red Square so please encourage everyone attending the moe. show to come down to Red Square that night!
