Everything about the show was spot on, including those that mildly afflicted our Violinist, Ruchira.
The event started on time and we were grateful that Ever End and Dubcore were as accomodating as we typically are. It makes for an easy set up.
But naturally, there's an ironic balance...
Spirits were up, or as much as they could be and its my priviledge and honour to have been a part of a show where Ruchira (afflicted with Chickenpox) and Brent (suffering a nasty headache) were able to play their best and keep the momentum of tighter sets continuous.
I'm proud to have played with these warriors.
Regrettably, the evening was bittersweet; subsequent to our set, we had to immediately depart for home as it would have been unwise to keep two sick people in the bar, exposed to noise and other people.
Needless to say, the show was great and we thank all those who came out, including: Ever End, Dubcore, our friends and families, and of course, Marcello and staff.
Until next time, Nov. 6, 2009 @ Marcello's!
Ciao for now,
Chris
