OK, I know we've been lazy on the blog front for a while so I'll just give y'all a wee update on what's going on in Triggerland!

We're at the start of a break brought on by two things.

Firstly Uggy & me (Beano) are soon to be proud fathers for the first time (not together!!!), so we'll need a bit of time to adjust to nappies & middle of the night feeds.

Secondly we're writing new songs at each practice as we thought the set was getting a bit stale (not least for ourselves...).  We have a lot of stuff half written & riffs lying about for a while that just need a bit of time to finish.  It usually takes about a week or 3 of playing the stuff in the practice room to decide if it's good enough or not.  You can decide for yourselves when we eventually get round to stepping on a stage again.

Just a wee heads up for any Triggerfans who might be free on Sunday 26 November 2006 & can get to The Nerve Centre in Derry for about 7.30pm.  We're planning a very special invite-only gig. Admission will be free & the performance promises to be something you may cherish for a long time...???...  More details when it's all confirmed, but get in touch asap if you'd like to be involved.

We are also looking into some serious business type dealings for the new year which, if successful could mean a serious step up for Triggerman in terms of exposure & direction.  I can't say any more at present for obvious reasons, suffice to say we are quietly confident & very excited about our future should this come off as planned!
