I haven't really listened to any metal since the last episode of the REAL Headbanger's Ball on MTV over 10 years ago. But now my inner whiteboy is loving this shit all over again. In case you're not in the know, Dethklok is the number one band in the world on the Adult Swim show Metalocalypse. They have legions of fans, money up the ass and all the time in the world to do stupid shit. Thing is, there's some kind of prophecy involving them that's destined to be... well, bad. So a secret cabal involving the occult, major religions and the U.S. government keeps tabs on them. Funny, funny (and bloody) show.

Naturally, being a metal cartoon show, the songs are chock full of lyrics about blood, metal, murder, "the blackness", death, battleaxes and dragons. Here's a sample:
