"The deployment began with military-style precision at 7am sharp as soldiers took up positions outside key strategic points across the country, including as train stations, cathedrals and monuments.
In total, 3,000 troops from all sections of the armed forces will be on patrol alongside traditional officers as the controversial Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's government gets tough on crime.
However, the sight of troops on streets alarmed many visitors and locals alike - one 70-year-old pensioner from Essex who refused to give her name described her amazement at seeing armed soldiers.
The woman, who was walking through Rome with her husband, said: "I think it's very sad - it reminds me of a time gone by and is very concerning. "

Please send stability to those around you, to help them stay grounded and not accept any fear from natural disaster, or other event that may take place in the near future, with so much attention drawn overseas.
Concerning Italy, it's almost funny that Italy would be putting its soldiers out publicly, when such a presence behind the scenes (concerning the paramilitary operations of the CIA-controlled "stay-behind" group), called Operation Gladio -their moves only destabalize and provoke - since the zionists funded hitler and the second european war. Italy has been such a corrupt place.
check out the linkages:
The origin of the "american icon", the "fasces". [from dictionary.com] : "a bundle of rods containing an ax with the blade projecting, borne before Roman magistrates as an emblem of official power."
..."in modern Italy it is a symbol of fascism "
[here is a photo of the immense fasces (reminds you of feces for a reason) behind the highchair on "capitol hill", district of columbia:

...
With an active support structure like what Operation Gladio left to develop and keep quiet -not even counting ties to the "foreign" zionist network through the CIA -, there was extant this machine for destabilization; fine, you might say...they would be like a dog on a short leash, without good information and active integration into the local power structures. ... well, then I would ask if you know of the lodge known as P2.
[from Wikipedia]: ""Propaganda" was originally founded in 1877, in Turin, as "Propaganda Massonica". This lodge was frequented by politicians and government officials from across Italy who were unable to attend their own lodges. and included prominent members from the Piedmont nobility. The name was changed to "Propaganda Due" following the Second World War when the Grand Orient numbered its lodges."
...the lodge officially disbanded "under fire", in the late 70s, early 80s.
[this is where public record comes in strong, and is very telling-there's a long list of international figures on the cited site-; just think "Bilderburg 1".]:
[they existed in private luxury, until the power structure was changed:]
""God's Banker" Roberto Calvi's connections with the Worshipful Master Licio Gelli became a particular focus of press and police attention, and caused the lodge (then secret) to be discovered. A list of adherents was found by the police in Gelli's house in Arezzo in March 1981, containing over 900 names, among which were very important state officers, some important politicians (four ministers or former ministers, and 44 deputies), and a number of military officers, many of them enrolled in the Italian secret services. Notably, the then future Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi was on the list, although he had not yet entered elective politics at the time. Another famous member was Victor Emmanuel, Prince of Naples, the current head of the House of Savoy. A document was also found in the possession of Licio Gelli titled "Piano di Rinascita Democratica" (Democratic Rebirth Plan) which amounted to a declaration of the lodge's intent; essentially, Gelli's goal was to form a new political and economic elite to lead Italy towards a more authoritarian form of democracy, in an anti-communist perspective. "The objective of the division of the trade-union must be a priority," the Plan stated..."
[Now, communist or not...]

I'm sure Kissinger and Associates made frequent stops there, to suck on spaghetti.

When I was there a couple of years ago, some cats we met at the time were talking about how the situation so closely mirrors what is going on here in the corporate united states. the intrinsic lack of trust that can be placed in "their leader".
That's something that really is disappointing, these days - the "big dadddy" figure that these fascists try to promote. [you know, whenever you might see a speech given by Hitler, on tv or in the movies, it's never translated (not usually), so unless you read the translation, you won't know that the rhetoric is so the same. protect from the evil rogue nations, the oncoming threat of the foreign element in society, support the economy with more control, lockdown the country to keep you safe, and finally, the definition of fascism:
"Fascism is an authoritarian nationalist political ideology and mass movement that holds traditionalist notions of reversing cultural decline or decadence, and which seeks to achieve a millenarian national rebirth by exalting most commonly the nation state, but sometimes the race, and which promotes unity, strength and cultural renewal."

But everything's okay, right? Well, yes, in a way, because we're strong, grounded, and aware. ... but so many just want to make a deal to make their life easier. Get a little more, ahead of time. Insider trading with your life as the stock...literally. ...well, fundamentally, at least, if not as something you'd want to accept as reality, on the basis of soverign individuation.
The idea of [pond] scum comes to mind. A little twist on the "raised capstone".
