Current mood:  frustrated
1. I believe in what works, not what we want to work.

2. I Think the most destructive philosophy that mankind has ever entered into is the concept behind "Utopia" More people have been marched into ovens, or turned into bars of soap and lampshades in the hope of creating a "utopia" than any other idea in the history of mankind.

3. I think the greatest political idea of all time is the idea of human liberty, and any governmental structure that furthers the cause of human liberty is a good start (at least).

4. I dont think that life on earth is 'heaven that has fallen" nor is it "hell that has risen". Its just life, and its largely what you make of it.

5. You can complain about your parents "awful parenting skills" only for the exact number of years that you lived with them, if you moved out when you were 18 and you're a 45 year old still whining about how your parents "didn't love you enough", you're a loser and they were probably right to not love you.

6. The fact that someone else has money, is not the reason why you don't.

7. Governments that rely on huge iconic pictures of the "leader" are tyrannical in nature.

8. Governments that have the word 'democratic" or "peoples' in their official names, are neither.

9. All people want to be free. It is not the exclusive franchise of the western Europeans, nor is personal freedom a quaint part of our culture. Its the desire of all human beings to live and be free. We just got there first.

10. You do not get paid by how hard you work, you get paid by how hard you are to replace.

11. I met all my communists when I got into college, none of them had ever worked a day in their life and were all children of privilege.

12. Socialism is a luxury only a rich country can afford.

13. When people discuss "helping the poor", they are most likely talking about how they don't want to feel guilty about other people being poor. The most important thing to do for the poor is not to help them BE poor, but to help them acquire wealth.

14. Property rights are the cornerstone of human liberty. If you cannot own property, you ARE property.

15. The "bill of rights" does not give you rights, God does. The "bill of rights" are restrictions on the powers of governance, no where in the "bill of rights" does it say " you have the right" - its says repeatedly "congress shall have no right.....". Its a subtle difference, but its an important one.

16. There is a reason why the Second Amendment is the Second Amendment and not the third, forth of fifth, its order of placement is not an accident.

17. Racial differentiation is a fraudulent scientific concept that was discredited in the last century. Its time we stopped thinking that way. Anthropologists will tell you that if you find human remains that are 10,000 years old, that they have no way to tell whether the remains are "Caucasian, Asiatic, Negroid, or anything else". its time to get with the program folks, you have no idea who your ancestors were, so stop talking about your "'race".

18. I don't believe in peace at any price. I believe that pacifist ideals have killed more people than most wars have. failure to fight for liberty when its challenged has killed millions of people.

19. In 5,000 years of human civilization no one has ever gained peace by the use of lawyers, pretty pieces of paper and good intentions.

20. I believe that the American governmental system is the last, best hope for mankind.

These are the most narcissistic, self-center, egotistical rationale for poor judgment I have ever read. If you approach the world with a "what can I get out of it" you will never be happy for fulfilled in your life. True joy comes from giving unconditionally with no expectation. I won't waste my time and breath on the counterpoints to each argument you present, but it's very easy to break each one down. I have pity for your soul, you need to evolve. Your thinking is a prefect reflection of why the world is in chaos, people only thinking of themselves and their benefit. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have any benefit. But as is said, the best things in life are free. Which means they can't be bought or sold either. Grow up, evolve spiritually.
