HIP HOP GIG - HELLSINKI
Before i left Finland i played another hip-hop gig - tho this time it was a more sinister affair with hellsinki's disasociated suburban yobbos out in force. Was pretty similar to bbq rap, in that its a bunch of doods mcing badly about gettin wasted and how bad they are (in finnish). my set was a weird one, dnb crowd but not into the hard stuff, bit more normal core, weird but was ok, finally got to prance around on a bar screaming at ppl... the end of the night was full on - broken glass everywhere and a bunch of noddys trying to get back into the venue by smashing at the door with a bloke's crutch. the bouncers retaliated and knocked him out by strangling him - nice. later it developed into a stabbing i hear.


DECADANCE - ST PETERSBURG.
So we arrived in st ptrsbrg. so nice to hook up with gromov after a particularily bent train ride. Headed to Decadance - which turned out to be a sooper swish swanky bar - crikey! ppl were eating their dinner there and having coctails. soo weird.... so at about 11pm we hit the stage with a booming sound system to about errm 50 ppl - who were all eating and sipping. among the 50 ppl were our favourite band messer chups - who set up the gig. It was very intimidating, not many ppl and all of them sittin.. so i guess we just went ballistic and didnt think of the lack of vibe or ppl.  turned out to be quite fun, although there was a bevvy of photographers goin mental with their cameras - strange - it seems that maybe haf the crowd were photographers and we were trippin over them whenever we moved - would love to see sum of the pix - HINT! Hangin with messer chups was ace!! thanks very much to oleg for settig this up!!

GRIBEYEV - ST PETERSBURG.
What an awesum party - walked into this abolute maze of an underground bomb shelter - utterly packed to the brim with ravers goin mental!! WOW. Gribeyev is the oldest and first dance venue in st spb - this place was russian dance history and it was a real honour to play to such a awesum loving crowd! they  were one of the best i have played to - screamed on command and responded to every thing we provoced... soo fun... the hip hop guys who played after us were cool too!! Fanx soo much to gromov for sorting this out! Was one of the funnest gigs i have played... Also thanx to eugene for helping us out too!! WE LOVE YOU GRIBEYEV!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FIDEL BAR - ST PETERSBURG.
The fidel bar is right next to one of my favourite bar's - dacha. so was fun to be in familiar territory.. This was another weird gig - not many ppl dancing and alot sitting around and just watching, i guess the sound system and the earlyness of our performance were contributing - tho again it was fun and got to meet alot of great ppl. we proceeded to go and get utterly wasted with oleg, zombie g (messer chups) and ilya all night... soo much fun!! We love U st petersburg - especially Grommy and ira, oleg, zombie g, ilya and eugene and everyone else we met or licked miss p's arm pit - U FUCKING ROOOL!!!

SICK FEST 4 - MOSCOW - ENDUSER / MZO / NASHUBOFENKI

Sick Fest was awesum, really great venue with big spaces and a crowd just utterly primed for maximum fun! got to see alot of the other acts which was fun tooo!! great to see sergy and sasha again too, this gig they had really done the good werk for, really big crowd and great production. MZO - was just me and Miss P and it seemed to go mental, so amazing - miss p even stage dived.!! i got to climb scafolding and have such a great time being an utter idiot... one of the best gigs for sure. My namshub sete too was a stormer - everyone was into it - and really felt the bass pressure, i think the crowd enjoyed the slowing in pace and all the new stuff form my new album...felt amazing when i got off stage... thanks soo much to Ivan, pete, kate, sergy, sasha, vlad and all the moscow crew that we love... WAS A GREAT GIG....!!! WE LOVE U TO PIECES.

ok after this we headed to tokyo to redezvous with lulu and tadashi and ray castle - had a ball spending lots of cash  and enjoying the fine, sights , sounds and tastes that only japan delivers....
