Beck Stacey
Album:Liquid Bliss
Label:Self Released
Beck Stacey takes just the 51 seconds it takes you to get through the opening track, "Strange Land" to lay down a marker that this is an album that's going to be a little bit different, a little bit avent garde. Featuring just Beck and her piano, "Liquid Bliss" is an album populated, by people, places and ideas. At times it seems to draw random phrases together just to sew them into a whole, songs as collections of words rather than a theme. It sits firmly in the left field along the highway of intriguing thoughts. Girls and pianos, they'll get you every time. One hell of a debut
