	*Bridget*	So glad to see you are bringing attention to this awful illness. Thank you!! My 10 yr. old son was diagnosed with type  1 diabetes almost 8 years ago. It was heartbreaking for me to have to hold my "baby" down and give him insulin shots while he kicked, screamed and fought me. Today I got news that a friend of a friend, who has lived with Type 1 diabetes for the last 20+years, passed away this week from possible complications of diabetes. 	Kelly	I'm so glad to have support from a celebrity for Juvenile Diabetes. As a fellow juvenile diabetic (since age 7) I completely relate to all your diabetes struggles. It only gets harder with diabetes as you grow up, and your risks for everything increases. We diabetics have to work so much harder just to maintain a normal lifestyle, and I thank you for setting an example for young diabetics eveywhere. You show us that even though we have this illness, it doesn't have to hold us back - if you're willing to work at it. It won't be easy, but then again the most rewarding things in life aren't easy.
