Dan LaSavage & Josh Kasee fought last night in Green bay for the Combat USA for their Bantamweight Championship -135lbs under Combat USA's Hybrid MMA Rules. The fight was scheduled for 12 rounds.

Josh Kasee unintentionally poked Dan LaSavage in the eye in the 6th round. The ring doctor ruled LaSavage could not continue. Since the fight was not half way complete they did not go to the score cards. The fight was ruled a no contest.

LaSavage won the 1st 5 rounds 10-9 on all 3 judges score cards.

Hopefully the guys can rematch in April on Combat USA next big show.

12 rounds??? What the hell---give me more info on these rules man---that sounds like a hell of a fight!!!

This promotion uses special round times to keep the action up. They are 8, 2 min. rounds usually. But for Title fights they are 12, 2 min. rounds. It was a good fight up until I got a finger stuck deep in my eye and the doctor stopped the fight. I was working alot of everything and as you could tell from the judges scores up to that point I was taking care of buisness.
