We got a new song demo finished yesterday -- "Blown Away" -- and it was so exciting! We love this song anyway -- it's a very personal message for us -- but to hear it come together in such a gorgeous package was nothing short of a thrill.
Whenever we take a song through the demo process, it's an amazing experience. We get used to hearing a song in the rough style we cobble together with Cubase and our less-than-adequate vocals. But then to hear a song taken from that level to damn-near radio-ready, it's almost overwhelmingly wonderful.
