Margot and the Nuclear So and So's will perform LIVE from Old Brick Church on September 30th. The eight person collaborative band has been compared to the likes of Arcade Fire and the Shins because of their indie pop sound. On October 2nd, Grammy-nominated guitarist Will Bernard will be performing LIVE at Old Brick Church. Self-described as “soul jazz,” Will Bernard has a unique sound and the talent to make a spectacular show! Iowa City local soul band The Diplomats of Solid Sound will open for this performance. . That same week, My Morning Jacket will make their only college stop on their tour right here in Iowa City. After an epic, four-hour performance at the Bonaroo Music Festival this summer, they were named one of the best live acts to see this year, and are playing Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve.
