i was sitting in my apartment last night...on my oh-so comfy red couch...which is normally magical...however, i'm sick and i was running a temperature of 102 degrees...needless to say...i was in severe pain. and as if this illness that has fallen upon me wasn't bad enough...i've also been feeling a little melancholy of late...so, clearly the ONLY thing that could soothe my pain is a little sappy romantic comedy movie action! much to my delight...one of my favorite movies from the '80's..."Say Anything..." was playing on cable. oh the glory! i mean, come on people...even with fever shakes and low spirits...how could lloyd dobler NOT cheer me up?

anyway...the reason for this unnecessary diatribe is to state for the record that i think the quirky charm of lloyd dobler might just be able to cure anything that ails you...well...i mean, if you're a girl...or a boy that likes boys. i know i feel better after some cinematic tlc from lloyd. i'm just sayin! ;)
