I was very very sad today to hear that Sherri Martel passed away.  I met her once in Germany back in 2001 and she was wonderful to me, very gracious and very respectful.

At the time I didn't know much about her career but since then I have had the opportunity to see more of her work both as a manager and an active wrestler and she is someone I admire greatly and feel inspired by.

Of course my personal experience with her was very brief, but she made a huge positive impression on me and working with her was an experience I'll never forget...

Yeah she was a great on screen presence and I disgusted the WWE has decided to run the fake Mr.McMahon death as more important sherri comes 6th on there story's which is a great shame for someone that did so much for Woman's wrestling and the WWE.

I met her once in Philadelphia back in 1992. She got my friends and I pressbox seats to a WWF wrestling card. I thanked her in person and she was very nice and classy. She will be missed.

She was definitely one of the greatest female managers of all time, 2nd only to Elizabeth.

Sherri was a true champion in the ring and out of the ring. I've never met a nicer woman. She deserved so much more then WWE gave her but she knows we all loved her.

Sherri was awesome i especially loved when she Managed Buddy Rose & Doug Somers in the A.W.A. i was only about six but i remember it cuz it was just so damn good. The fights between the 3 of them Vs. Marty Jannetti and Shawn Micheals (Midnight Rockers) were Epic. Not to mention her Stint As "Scarey Sherri" in the W.W.F. being just classic.

I personally respect Chyna out of all the older female talent she was way cool and a sweetheart..plus she was a badass wrestler and i feel that she was the reason i watched the WWF/WWE at the time. Sherri was cool and I liked her work.
