The Steel City Derby Demons will be hanging at the South Side Works
Cinema on Friday, October 2nd starting around 6:00 pm for the opening
night of "Whip It" the new movie directed by Drew Barrymore and
starring Ellen Page.
The movie is a coming of age story about
a girl (Page) who joins her local Roller Derby league. The movie also
features a cameo by our own Kat Von D'stroya!
The SCDD will be
raffling off gifts, selling merchandise, and skating around the theater
all night. So come down and join in on the fun!
