When you look out across a sea of faces and every one of them is giving you their full attention, you are very aware that you are dealing with straight up music lovers. And so it was last Wednesday night (31st May) when we played support to The Guillemots at The Scala in London. We've been around a while and played many a show in many a different guise but nights (audiences) like these come seldom, if at all. So thanks to the following:
1)The Guillemots, for inviting us to play and also attracting:
2)An audience with a love of music, a desire to hear new songs and most importantly good old-fashioned MANNERS. However, I'm sure they wouldn't have been able to enjoy the music so avidly, were it not for:
3) The crew at The Scala who made the sound so warm and rich that it even gave us a shock and we know what we sound like.
If you are in any of the above, you just made our lives better, isn't it funny how much power people have!!!
