Saturdays at 11am, the four members of Luigi meet at Thunderbox, the wonderful new practice warehouse managed by the lovely Ted Lathang (sp?) from whom I'm sure many of you used to buy strings, picks, cords or what have you at the now defunct Clark Music.

ANYway, we get there with our four charming, straight from the pillow scairdooos and  puffy faces, squinting at each other through sand, sipping something hot and delicious, and shooting the breeze with our morning breath before plugging in, flipping the switches, and playing some loud music. 

And I'm only telling you this because it's Thursday, and one of the things I most look forward to this coming weekend happens at 11am on Saturday.  New things are starting to germinate and we're not sure what they will grow into. don't you love that?

Here's a funny one... when we got to Thunderbox for practice last night, there was a half inch of stinky toilet water on the floor in our space from a backed up toilet in the office area.  Oh well... you gotta roll with the punches.  We still love the Thunderbox, because good ol' Ted came over and made it right.  Plus, we love playing so much that we didn't mind putting  guitar straps soaked in piss water over our shoulders and rocking the shit out of our huge temporary space while the cleaning crew comes in, because we're just that hardcore.  Oh, and we were kind of drunk, so that helped.

TRUE dat, the bathrooms are usually lacking (AlREADy! come ON people, we're sort of like, HOUSEmates---and I KNOW it's dudes using up the TP and trashing the ladies room, let's be honest).

Still, I do love our space, and so far the spacemates have been keeping it a pleasant place to rock.
