My thanks go out to CKUA Radio and their supporters for placing me at #1 on their, 'Top 100 Albums of 2008'.
I love this station! Not just because of the support that they have shown me over the years, but because of all of the incredible music that they have introduced me to and for their exuberant spirit.
CKUA was founded in 1927. It is Canada's first educational broadcaster and first public broadcaster. In 1996 CKUA became the first radio station in Canada to go online. ( so check them out at www.ckua.com ! )
These days they broadcast 168 hours of eclectic music every week . Their internationally renowned music library contains an excess of 1.5 million musical selections. Blues, Jazz, Classical, Celtic, Folk, Contemporary, Alternative, and a few things that defy categorization.
CKUA is a unique alternative community based public broadcaster that thrives on the support of it's listeners. They are a beacon that demonstrates how great things can happen when people pull together for what they believe in.
Thanks again CKUA.
And thanks to everyone at the mighty Six Shooter Records for their help in releasing , 'A Dreamer's Guide to Hardcore Living' in Canada.
