can be a slow and painful/subtly-gratifying process when you're essentially writing and recording it all at the same time. after working on a bunch of records over the last year or so that you can look at on a website or buy (www.myspace.com/uniformrecording), we've spent the last year or so (officialyish since last january) writing and recording our next record. man, even when it's faster it's slow. so...you track a few songs, realize they're not living up to their potential. try them w/ some different arrangements, w/ some different people playing on them. they work by the second or third time. if they don't work by then the demo was probably the best it could get. i could ramble on about recording equipment and various other things but danny devito is winning. detailed BS at some other point.
