Hi.
I loved the N64, mostly because of the exciting new 3D franchises of my favourite games. Nintendo stunned us all again with it's Mario, Zelda and Metroid lines on the N64 and the controller was great too. It was the last mainstream machine to use cartridges, which eliminated loading times but drove up costs. Anyway, here's a few words about thew first batch of ROMS i've played...
We started with HSV Adventure Racing and Telefoot Soccer 2000. The racing was okay, and the soccer was busted. It looked pants anyway. 1080 Snowboarding and Airboarder 64 are both acceptable larks; while Bass Hunter 64 and Batman Of The Future mostly left me unfulfilled, with dull gameplay on the fishing and awkward controls on Batman. Bust-a-Move 3 was, ironically; busted...
Lastly we had Centrecourt Tennis and F1 racing. There's not much memorable about the tennis but the revearsing aspect is clunky and irritating on the racing. Avoid both.
If anyone needs to know anything about the N64 then they should go here:
