Hello again there and welcome back.

I think now finally that I'm finished collecting emulators and ROMS. I officially gave up trying to make that fucking Chankast Dreamcast Emulator ever work last night, after wasting another evening trying over and over to get it to play a game.

You see, firstly I just downloaded the emulator, which was hard enough to find, and involved unfinished downloads and dead links, and viruses....then I spent an age trying to get the ROMS only to discover that none of them would play without a dc_bios file. This was nearl;y impossible to find and it really pissed me off every time I'd see the file download link on a page, follow it for about ten minutes and fill in a fucking membership form only to be told that I needed to buy the fucking program in the end anyway.

It was all an absolute bullshit-fest before I ever even tried to get it to work.

Eventually, after about 5 faulty downloads I managed to get a Chankast version that already had the dc_bios file in it so I followed all the instructions to a T and tried again but still fucking nothing. The dreamcast emulator kept thinking the CD image of the game CDi (Which I had mounted with Daemon: more bullshit.) was a music CD. It would keep getting tantalisingly close with promising whirring noises as the emulator tried to read the disk image but then "can't read TOC file" would appear and close the entire deal right back to my desktop. It was fucking gay.

So I asked my mate Dickey to have a look, and we both spent hours downloading dodgy software patches and crashing my machine, over and over and over. By the end of the evening we both had massive headaches and strained eyes and had accomplished nothing. Dickey eaid he honestly believed that I should give up, and that all this shit was straying dangerously close to me destroying my machine. I was furious and disappointed, but inclined to agree...

When he left I just sat there frowning at the thought of not knowing whether any of the Streetfighters or other wierd sounding Capcom and SNK fighting games I'd spent hours downloading, and which didn't even come out on any other system (I'm not counting Playstation) were any good or not.

It was especially frustrating as I've been trying to compile a definitive list of Beat 'Em Up games for the Beat 'Em Up Challenge I want to have with my mates.
It was some time later before I suddenly realised that these games also came out in those huge brilliant coin operated arcade machines. Literally an hour later I'd managed to track down a brilliant site with all the ROMS and emulators I needed.

In a jif I had perfect arcade emulations (with added features) of:
Street Fighter III: The Third Strike
Street Fighter 3 Alpha
Street Fighter EX2
Marvel Superheroes Vs. Streetfighter
Street Fighter Zero
Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash Of The Super-Heroes
X-Men Vs. Streetfighter

...and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, because it's fun.

Not bad for an hours free downloading; but why the fuck didn't I do this before now? I've wasted at least a month of my life...

So in conclusion, the new games are amazing, and the dreamcast is a fucking faggot.
Some of them have a screenshots facility so when I can I'll stick up what I can when I can. If I can.
