Friends, Hello!!!

GOD IS SO COOL.

And one thing’s for sure: you can’t rain on His parade!

Despite the steady downpour, this past Thursday at the Square was incredible. As long as our friends are playing down on Main street, we will be there to bless them with toys and encouragement, and hopefully, a glimpse into God’s (great big) heart for them! With the band out in Syracuse opening for Casting Crowns (holler!) and the not-so-awesome weather, we really weren’t expecting a big turnout for our team, but we of little faith were pleasantly surprised with a great group! You guys are the real deal.

So we met at Forbes Theatre as always, got our treasures together (bubbles galore!), prayed for opportunities to minister and favor with all the cool people we were going to meet, and headed over to make some connections. We handed out sweet bubble necklaces, scented “miracle bubbles” (don’t ask), and these huge, incredible, neon bubble wands to our friends who braved the weather! It was a blast.

For the first time, we had our weekly FREE PIZZA PARTY at Forbes Theater, because last time we just had too many guests to fit in Prima! We welcomed in an estimated couple hundred guests… enough to down 8 sheet pizzas. One of us gave a powerful testimony about how God saved him from a life headed towards jail and nothing but trouble. We were all blessed by his example of redemption and transformation. Some of us had some great connections with youth who are on the exact same paths we were on when God showed up and flipped our worlds upside down. The power of a testimony is incredible – absolutely no one can deny you of your story!

God is going to continue to rock Main street, and we are so blessed to be a part of what He is doing. If you have not yet experienced this movement of love, get down there… you are missing out!
