It recently dawned on me that most people are inept when it comes to dealing with others. This is because people do things that others would not expect, say, something very out of character, and we do not know how to deal with it.

If someone was to, say, cry over the loss of a pet when they are nearly 20, it would make perfect sense to treat them like a child. Because crying is something children would do. Adults deal with their problems in ways that don't involve sitting in the dark and bitching and moaning about it to ex-boyfriends on MSN, and when they say "oh well, life goes on", adults don't go "OMG WELL FUCK YOU THEN".

Also when you suggest that, say, someone should "choke on their own ego", an adult would say something completely different. Like "you are a cunt". Children would take your words and repeat them back to you, because they secretly want to be like you.

And really, who doesn't want to be like me? I was at work recently, and I smashing glassware while demanding cake, and this guy came in and was like "What the fuck are you doing?!" so I beat one out into his keyboard while he wasn't looking.

I'm just talking about other people, not myself.
