During winter 2006, I received an invitation to join the background vocals team set to record on Danilo Montero's latest recording "Tu Amor".
Danilo, known for his dynamic Latin Praise and Worship albums, was just finishing up production in Orlando, Florida at Delivery Room Studio, when I received a call to fill the tenor parts needed to complete the front line vocal group. I joined the already confirmed team that would also be included on this incredible project. Among them were Melodie Joy and Blanca Reyes, vocalist for the Warner Label recording group, Group 1 Crew.
It was an awesome experience working for 3 days with such a great team and on what would develop into such an anointed album. Danilo would drop in once in a while to make sure things were running smoothly and allowed us to get some one on one down time together which set a great atmosphere of fellowship during the recording process.
Melodie and I have been friends for many years, so it was awesome catching up dropn' in some good old laughs (which also made for many retakes), as to where meeting Blanca Reyes and chilln' a bit with old friend Pablo ( also Group 1 member) was great!
The CD released in late May 2007 and is now available at your favorite retailer by Integrity Media. Feel free to pick up your copy and enjoy this blessed project.
